Currently, I'm in San Antonio, Texas, USA. I don't like it much, but I do like the downtown. They have this man-made river that goes throughout, called the River Walk. It's very beautiful. There is a mall; the River Center Mall which has lots of glass to see the beautiful 'river'. Although not necessary, as the mall itself is very lovely. Here are some pictures that I took about 6 months ago.

We were there last year. Same here too, loved the downtown, Alamo and Sea World and didn't like anything else. I almost had a heat stroke there, never will forget that. But it's worth visiting the downtown area though,it's beautiful.
Yes, its too hot here, and not much wind/breeze at all. Plus, it's hard to find haldi, elychee, etc in San Antonio.
The river is not manmade... it's the San Antonio River. It's been around pretty much since the beginning of time, fed by the Edwards Aquifer :)
Hope you have a nice time!

That's a good point. I should have made it more clear in my post. The San Antonio river is a natural river- but it has been routed/extended and 'spoilt' (with concrete) to make it the beatiful tourist attraction that it is today. So, it was a natural river but now its basically a manmade river, especially the part of it that makes the River walk.
